Day 2 of Session One – Community Helpers Week! 🚑❤️ What a wonderful day of learning and fun! Today, we had the pleasure of welcoming a very special guest, Mr. Brent O’Donnell, a paramedic who works in EMS. He taught the children about the important role p EMT professionals play in helping people and keeping our communities safe. The children loved seeing some of the equipment he uses and were thrilled to have a hands-on opportunity to explore it! A very special thank you to Mr. O’Donnell—better known to us as Gavin and Declan’s dad—for taking time out of his busy day to visit our Summer Program. We are so grateful for his kindness and for sharing his knowledge with our little learners. We also enjoyed playground time, creative play, and continued our conversations about the many amazing community helpers who make a difference every day. Thank you to all of our wonderful families for sharing your children with us. We hope they came home excited to tell you all about our special visitor! We can’t wait for another fun-filled day tomorrow! 💙🚑☀️

Week Two is Farm Week! 🐐🐰🐥 We kicked off our Farm Week by welcoming Once Upon a Farm for another amazing petting zoo experience! The children had so much fun meeting and interacting with the goats, bunnies, chickens, and other friendly farm animals. It was a wonderful hands-on learning experience that was enjoyed by children of all ages. A heartfelt thank you to Once Upon a Farm for joining us once again and making this special event such a memorable part of our summer program. We are so grateful for another year of smiles, laughter, and unforgettable memories! We can’t wait to see what the rest of Animal Farm Week has in store! 🐄🐷🐴

🌟 That’s a wrap on Week One of our Summer Program! 🌟 What a wonderful first week we had as we wrapped up our Community Helpers theme! The children had so much fun learning about the amazing people who help keep our community safe, healthy, and strong. Next week, we’re excited to head down to the farm for our Farm & Animals theme! 🐄🐖🐥 We have lots of exciting activities planned, including a special visit from Once Upon a Farm and music and movement with Miss Laurie. It’s sure to be another week filled with learning, laughter, and fun! Thank you to all of our wonderful families for making our first week such a success. Our Monday, Wednesday, Friday Pre-K program is officially complete! It is hard to believe how quickly the year has flown by. The next step is saying goodbye to our Monday through Friday class, which finishes tomorrow. Then, we will come together on Wednesday to celebrate our amazing students at graduation. This week is filled with special moments, proud accomplishments, and memories that will last a lifetime. Congratulations to Our Pre-K Class of 2026! 🎓💙 Last night, we proudly celebrated the graduation of our Pre-K classes as they completed an important chapter and prepared for an exciting new adventure—kindergarten! This isn’t goodbye; it’s simply see you later. We hope you’ll come back and visit us because you will always be a part of our St. Peter’s Nursery Preschool family. We will miss each and every one of you and wish you the very best as you begin this exciting journey. A heartfelt thank you to all of our families for trusting us with your children. Hip Hip Hooray, it’s our last Friday! 🇺🇸6.12.26🇺🇸To beat the heat outside, we headed to the gym where the children had a wonderful time driving cars and riding bikes. We look forward to seeing everyone on Monday.

Our Monday–Friday Pre-K class celebrated their last day of school today! 🎉 What an incredible year it has been watching these children learn, grow, build friendships, and gain confidence. They are more than ready for their next adventure! Tomorrow we celebrate their graduation, and then it’s off to kindergarten they go. Monday, June 8th, was our final Literacy Enrichment class of the school year. We wrapped up our author study featuring Salina Yoon, enjoying her wonderful stories and the engaging activities that accompanied them throughout the series. We hope your child enjoyed participating in Literacy Enrichment and developed a greater love of books, storytelling, and learning through literature. It has been a pleasure sharing these stories and activities with your children. What a fantastic journey we’ve had in our Spanish Enrichment class! 🎉 Today marked the end of our session, and students took home their completed “Mi Cuerpo/My Body” books, showcasing all their hard work. 📚✨ It’s been a joy to see them grow, learn, and make strides in their Spanish skills. Today was our final Art Enrichment class! 🎨🏖️ The children created sandcastles using rectangles, squares, and triangles, bringing together many of the shapes and skills they have explored throughout the session. This project marks the completion of Session 3 of our Invitation to Create series. We hope your children enjoyed all three sessions and had fun exploring their creativity through art. It has been a pleasure getting to know each child and watching their imagination, confidence, and creativity blossom throughout the year. Music & Movement – Session 3, Week 8 This week we traveled to Ireland 🇮🇪 and learned about the fiddle 🎻. We discovered that the fiddle has four strings and is played with a bow. The children had a wonderful time listening and moving to lively Irish music, exploring rhythm and movement with instruments, and even getting the chance to play a real fiddle/violin! 🎵 Reminder: Our last Music & Movement class will be June 12. 🎵

📚 Literacy Enrichment 🐍 This week we read the fun and engaging book Opposnakes by Salina Yoon and followed it up with a super-duper cool snake craft! The story introduced us to opposites such as clean and dirty, quiet and loud, and hot and cold. The grand finale had everyone smiling as one lonely snake became lots and lots of snakes having a party! The children had a wonderful time exploring these opposite concepts while creating their colorful snakes. See you next week for our last Literacy Enrichment class! 📖✨🐍💚

🎉 Lunch Bunch 🎉 Today the kiddos knew it was Friday and were ready to get all their energy out! 😄 What better way to do that than with a fun game of basketball 🏀 and an exciting relay race! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ We had lots of fun playing, laughing, and spending time with our friends. What a great way to end the week! ✨💕

Lunch Bunch 🦓 🌍 Today we learned about zebras! 🦓 A fun fact we discovered is that no two zebra stripes are the same—just like human fingerprints! ✨

Music & Movement – Session 3, Week 7 This week we traveled to India 🇮🇳 and learned about the sitar 🎶, a special string instrument with many strings that makes soft, twinkly sounds. The children had so much fun exploring maracas, drums, xylophones, and tambourines while dancing and moving to beautiful sitar music!

Hooray for another Spirit Day — Red, White & Blue — and our TTH classes did not disappoint showing their school spirit! ❤️🤍💙 We had a super busy day today! We worked on fun red, white and blue projects, and enjoyed our monthly Music & Movement class with Miss Laurie 🇺🇸5.19,26🇺🇸

Session 3/Week 7 Spanish Enrichment class. This week, we discovered that “Mano” means hand, and we went over “cabeza” (head), “ojos” (eyes), “nariz” (nose), “orejas” (ears), and “boca” (mouth), brazo (arm) along with numbers, colors, and greetings. Enrichment: Music & Movement – Session 3, Week 6 This week we traveled to France 🇫🇷 and learned about the accordion 🪗. We listened to cheerful French music and moved to the rhythm while pretending to play our very own accordions

🦖🦕 Get ready to dive into the world of dinosaurs with our “Invitation to Create - Dinosaurs” ! 🦖🦕 Our talented artists have designed their own special dinosaurs using bright, pre-cut shapes like circles, triangles, ovals, and rectangles. This project is a fantastic way to sharpen your gluing skills and help you spot shapes and colors. 🎨✨ Just a heads-up, there are only three classes left! We’ll be meeting on May 19th, June 2nd, and June 9th.

🐘🌿 Keeping our eyes peeled for those giant African elephants on our safari adventure! Who will spot one first? 👀✨

Today in Lunch Bunch, we learned some amazing facts about African elephants! 🐘 A fun fact we discovered is that they can grow up to 13 feet tall, and their trunks have 2 “fingers” to help them grab and grip things! ✨

Today in Lunch Bunch, we learned all about African lions! The male lion is bigger, has a mane, and protects the pride. The lioness is the hunter, and lions can run up to 50 mph! 🦁💨 After learning, we enjoyed lunch and had fun playing with Legos, Batman toys, and magnet tiles. Before we knew it, it was time to go home! ✨

Our MWF and M-F 3 year classes had their Mother’s Day brunch today. Thank you for celebrating the special event with us wishing you all a very happy Mother’s Day..

The children had so much fun shaking instruments, dancing to lively music, and now they can pretend to be their very own mariachi band!

Art Enrichment🌼 Get ready for some flower power! In honor of Mother’s Day, each little artist has crafted their very own unique flower using colorful precut shapes like circles, triangles, ovals, and rectangles. 🌈 This hands-on lesson not only nurtures their creativity but also helps reinforce gluing skills and shape and color identification. 🎨✨ As we bloom into PreK, these skills are blossoming beautifully!
