My name is Sharon DePalo and I am a teacher for both the four-year old and three-year old programs at St. Peter's Nursery Preschool. I currently hold a Bachelor's degree in Communications from Marist College as well as a Master's degree in Elementary and Special Education from Touro College. I taught special education for nine years in a NYC public school, before deciding to stay home to raise my three children. I have been part of the St. Peter’s family for more than 6 years as a parent, now I am excited to be there as a teacher. I fell in love with St. Peter’s when I was choosing a two year old program for my oldest son. I could instantly tell that St. Peter’s was a warm and welcoming program with so much love for the children. I am looking forward to being part of a great program and working with such special children.

I began substituting at St. Peter's Nursery Preschool 19 years ago when both my children attended the wonderful program here. Since then, I have held positions as an Administrative Assistant in the Office and have been a Teacher's Assistant in the 2-year-old program and Mommy and Me program during the school year and Leader in the Mommy and Me program during the summer program. I currently enjoy working as a Teacher's Assistant in the MWF 4-year-old program. Being able to watch some of our children start and finish their journey here at St. Peter's is something I really look forward to experiencing. It never ceases to amaze me how much they grow and learn.
